About
This navigation tool is designed as a guide to help you explore the different skills, attitudes and knowledge relevant to the development of the 12 sustainability competences targeted by the TEACH4SD project, based on the EU GreenComp Framework. It is a tool to reflect on the concepts and competencies presented in the GreenComp framework, and it will help you to self-assess which elements you already have and which you might want to learn. We have identified 64 relevant elements, some of which will appear in random combinations in the survey. So each time you take the survey, the results will vary slightly, expanding on the items you encounter. It is not intended to be a complete assessment of your level of competence.
TEACH4SD is an innovative project supported by the highly regarded Erasmus+ Centre of Vocational Excellence programme, dedicated to developing, testing and validating Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) practices, and is geared towards the ambitions of the European Green Deal to address climate and environmental challenges.
The objective of TEACH4SD is to mobilise capacity in industry, research and innovation and link it in new and innovative ways with the education and training sector. To make sustainability transitions a success, the guiding principle of TEACH4SD is to empower and educate educators to take a leading role as drivers of change and thus contribute to the European ambition for a fair and socially just environmental transition.
TEACH4SD stands for Transforming Education Area and Competency Hub for Sustainable Development.
